Three nights that marked our lives. The terrace at sunrise, the lamb tagine, the blue lanes of Mirleft... An unforgettable Berber interlude.

Historic hotel in Mirleft
Mirleft's oldest hotel welcomes you. Berber authenticity, traditional cuisine, and the Atlantic Ocean at your feet.
Nestled by the Atlantic, Le Grand Atlas is a haven between Berber cliffs and the ocean. Mirleft is a peaceful village where blue lanes breathe to the rhythm of the tides and time seems to stand still.
We wanted this house to be a simple, warm place — an authentic stopover for travellers seeking calm, true flavours and Berber hospitality. Every room, every dish, every detail is thoughtfully crafted.
Here, what matters is not luxury, but the welcome. And a true welcome is cultivated every day.
Ten rooms, a sea-facing terrace, fifty covers. Traditional Moroccan cuisine prepared with local produce. Welcome to our home, welcome to Mirleft.
Nadia Benabdelhafid
Nadia and her team welcome you to Le Grand Atlas as if you were in a family home. The smile is genuine, the attention is real, and every detail is designed to make you feel at home.
Here, hospitality is not a job — it is a way of being. A coffee served right away, a word for everyone, a lamp left on when you return from the market. The small touches that make all the difference.
Our only promise: to make your stay a moment you will remember long after you return home.
Breakfast is served with care each morning: bread still warm, homemade jams, mint tea poured according to tradition.
At Le Grand Atlas, we do not house guests: we welcome travellers we hope to see again.

Ten unique rooms with tadelakt walls, draped in Berber fabrics and lit by the light of the South. All open onto the ocean or the village rooftops.
Our cuisine draws the most authentic from Moroccan tradition. Tagines simmered for hours over slow embers, hand-rolled Friday couscous, pastilla with toasted almonds and cinnamon… Recipes prepared with patience and generosity, where every dish tells a story and every spice carries the memory of a journey.
A small Berber village nestled against the Atlantic, Mirleft has watched over its red cliffs for centuries. Far from the bustle of Agadir and Essaouira, this is where Morocco still breathes to the rhythm of the sea and the wind.
Mirleft has kept its soul: no apartment blocks, no chains, no crowds. Its blue lanes wind between white houses, its fishermen bring in their catch each morning at the small harbour, and its cliffs offer the finest sunsets in southern Morocco.
It is a well-kept secret — that of travellers seeking the authentic, surfers chasing the long waves, and lovers of silence.
A well-kept secret of southern Morocco.
Authenticity in its purest form.
A timeless retreat.
A stay out of time. Le Grand Atlas welcomed us like family. The rooms are refined, the cuisine unforgettable. We will return without hesitation.
